Srinagar, June 14 (UNI) The Jammu and Kashmir Vigilance Organisation has attached the property of a revenue official, who had allegedly acquired it through illegal means, an official spokesman said today.

He said the Vigilance Organisation attached the two properties of Purshotam Singh, a Girdhawar in the state Revenue Department.

The official was found to be in possession of assets worth Rs one crore disproportionate to his known sources of income.

This is the second such attachment as the Vigilance Organisation had earlier seized the property of an executive engineer.
