One dead in boat capsize

New Delhi, June 14 (UNI) One person was killed when a boat carrying five persons overturned in the Yamuna river in the Sonia Vihar area of North Delhi.

The incident occurred at 1600 hours when the boat overturned near the Nanaksar pushta, fire brigade sources said. All the five persons were rescued by the passers by who admitted them to the GTB hospital.

Of them, one person was admitted to the trauma centre of the hospital, while another person, 27-year-old Gyanender died, they said.
