Nikkei extends tumble as Toyota, exporters fall
TOKYO, June 14 (Reuters) The Nikkei average fell 0.94 percent at the start of trade on Wednesday, extending losses from its worst one-day percentage loss in two years, as Toyota Motor Corp. and other exporters fell on continued concern about rate increases in the key U.S. market.
The Nikkei was down 117.13 points at 14,101.47 as of 0004 GMT.
The TOPIX index was down 1.01 percent at 1,443.59.
