Motorola signs Beckham as brand ambassador for three years

Mumbai, June 14 (UNI) Motorola has signed England football team captain David Beckham as their global brand ambassador for the next three years.

Motorola in a release issued here today stated that the Beckham has been signed on for a three-year collaboration. Which will kick off with major activities across Asia including advertisement appearances and extensive retail promotions rolled out across the network of Motorola stores and distributors throughout the region.

The collaboration will also include the ability to embed exlusive Beckham contest - such as screen savers and video clips of the star in action - in Motorola handsets, the release added.

Beckham will begin his role with immediate effect and will be seen exclusively carrying Motorola products during the on-going World Cup, it was stated.

Beckham would also be supporting important Motorola initiaves in his role including the newly launched (MOTO) red mobile phone created to help eliminate AIDS in Africa.
