Karunanidhi on 5-day private visit to B'lore

Bangalore, June 14 (UNI) Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam supremo and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi today arrived on a five-day private visit to the city.

Mr Karunanidhi, who was visiting the city for the first time after returning to power, was given a warm welcome by his partymen and well wishers at the airport.

The octagenarian leader drove straight to his daughter's residence at J P Nagar from the airport. Tight security arrangements had been made in view of his visit.

Mr Karunanidhi was expected to visit the premises of IT major Infosys tomorrow.
