JKNPP to throw its weight behind Cong candidate for RS by-election

Jammu, June 14 (UNI) The Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party (JKNPP) has decided to vote for Mohammad Aslam Chowdhry, the Congress candidate for the Rajya Sabha by-election which is slated to be held tomorrow.

According to a release issued by the party here today, the party took the decision in an emergency meeting held under the chairmanship of Prof Bhim Singh. The meeting was attended by all four legislators -- Harsh Dev Singh, Faqir Nath, Balwant Singh and Yashpal Kundal.
