Indian football lacks focus: Sabir
Chennai, Jun 14 (UNI) India has ample football talent as in Japan but somehow not doing well in world stage, says former international Syed Sabir Pasha here today.
Pasha, who 'kicked off' the ''Virtusa Soccer Arena '', an in-house facility developed by Virtusa, an IT service provider to watch world cup matches in stadium atmosphere, said this was due to ''lack of focus'' in the game in the country.
All India Football Federation (AIFF) vice-president and Tamil Nadu Football Association (TFA) secretary C R Viswanathan, who inaugurated the facility said infrastructure and training have to be improved significantly to nurture the talent.
