St Lucia, June 14 (UNI) India may be on the verge of winning the second Test here by a convincing margin but former West Indies pace spearhead Andy Roberts believes they are no better then Brian Lara's side as both the teams lack a good bowling attack.

''India are just like the West Indies,'' he told the Carribean Media Communications.

''India is struggling bowling-wise. All West Indies need to do is to bat properly, because India do not have a good bowling attack, just like the West Indies,'' he added.

Criticising the West Indies team management for picking Pedro Collins for the match, Roberts said the pacer -- returning after an injury kept him out for nearly an year -- was not an ideal selection for the ogoing match here.

''I find it strange that people coming back from a year off, being injured, and with only one first-class game, you're brought back to play a five-day Test match,'' Roberts said adding, ''That should not happen.'' Roberts said being a fast bowler, Collins, who completed 100 Test wickets in the match, should have been tested before being included in the squad.

''Especially if that player is a fast bowler. You need to be able to play a couple games so we can see how much you recover after one game,'' he said.

Collins was called in for Fidel Edwards after the latter pulled a hamstring in the first Test in Antigua but could not do much as India pled on more then 600 runs in the first innings.

''I'm not saying who should be included. I just know that it is unfortunate that we chose a player who has been off the international scene for a year, because of injury, and he comes straight back into the team,'' Roberts contended.
