Hrishikesh Mukherjee's condition much better

Mumbai, June 14 (UNI) The condition of noted filmmaker Hrishikesh Mukherjee, undergoing treatment for kidney ailment at Lilavati Hospital for the last one week, is much better.

Speaking to UNI, his son-in-law Pradeep Bhattacharya said though he is still in the ICU and on dialysis, his condition is much better than what it was 5-6 days ago.

Hrishikesh Mukherjee was detected of renal failure last year and undergoing dialysis since then.

Last week, he had to be hospitalised due to respiratory complications after dialysis.
