Hindustan Samachar to launch Nepali edition next month

Gangtok, Jun 14 (UNI) Hindustan Samachar, a multi lingual news agency, has decided to launch its Nepali language edition from next month to cater to the needs of the Nepali speaking people of the country.

Hindustan Samachar Editor Ashok Chaurasia told newspersons here that the agency had been providing news in Nepali on a trial basis since February this year but it would be formally launched on July 13.

Mr Chaurasia said Sikkim Chief Minister Pawan Chamling is scheduled to formally launch the service.

At present, the agency has been providing news in five regional languages --Hindi, Marathi, Assamese, Gujarati and Oriya.
