Gogoi admitted to AIIMS

New Delhi, June 14 (UNI) Asom Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi was admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) here today for stomach infection, doctors at the Hospital said.

They said Mr Gogoi was suffering from infection and his condition is stable. He would be discharged in a few days, they added.

''He has been advised rest as there is nothing to worry about .... He is under observation,'' the doctors said.

Mr Gogoi had returned from a three-nation foreign tour on June 12.
