'Gallops', unique Designer Mall launched in Ahmedabad

Ahmedabad, Jun 14 (UNI) The 'GALLOPS', India's first designer mall developed at an handsome cost of Rs 80-crore was formally launched today on Satellite Highway Cross Roads in the city.

The 'GALLOPS' spreads over 350,000 sq ft area with offering of almost 225,000 sq ft shopping area is all set to redefine the definition of a Mall which sets a new benchmark, says Mr N G Patel, Chairman of N G Corporation, the promoter of the mall.

Talking to mediapersons here, Mr Patel said, the GALLOPS was developed on a theme with a rare combination of practical architecture and interior designs drawing inspirations from legendary Tajmahal to Pyramids.

He said, ''The 'GALLOPS' mall has been specifically designed to enable a large number of visitors to have an interesting environment right through the day without any compromise of ease, comfort, conveience or safety.'' By providing the best in shopping facilities in the city, the 'GALLOPS' Mall promises to generate a lot of excitement amongst its patrons who are exposed to international malls, Mr Patel said.

Four anchor stores such as Lifestyle, Max, Globus and Shoe Factory have made the GALLOPS Mall already a 'MUST VISIT' place.

The one of the most unique features of the Mall is its huge parking space with facility to park over 700 cars.

Disclosing his future plan, Mr Patel said the N G Corporation is going to develop 'GALLOP-2' at cost of Rs 200-crore on the Gandhinagar-Sarkhej Highway.

The GALLOP-2 will have a five-star hotel and four super malls. It will be developed over 600,000 sq feet area. The land for the project has already been acquired by the Company. It will be completed by year-2007, Mr Patel added.
