CPI(ML) opposes move against caste-based reservation

Kottayam, June 14 (UNI) CPI(ML) leaders Dr P J James and C V J Joy today said caste based reservation system should be protected.

At a news conference here. they said that the move to sabotage the caste-based reservation system should be strongly opposed.

The CPI(ML) would spearhead the struggle against the move and to protect the caste-based reservation system. A reservation protection council had been constituted and a convention under the auspices of the council would be held here on June 24.

An All India convention would be held at Delhi next month after convening state level conventions, they said.
