Beer guzzling simian in Kanpur!

Kanpur, June 14 (UNI) Beer aficionados have an unlikely company in a female simian in the industrial town of Kanpur.

The monkey guzzles 2-3 bottles of the alcoholic beverage daily at a liquor outlet in the Kakadeo area.

At day break, she reaches the beer shop to wait for her daily dose of the 'high'.

To entertain themselves, several of the visitors to the outlet give beer bottles to the monkey and watch her guzzle the chilled drink.

A local said sometimes the simian herself picks up beer bottles of different brands kept in the outlet.

After getting her 'quota' for the day, the monkey leaves the place without harming anyone.
