Army Management Studies Board meet begins tomorrow

Bangalore, June 14 (UNI) The two-day sixth meeting of the Army Management Studies Board (AMSB) will be held in the city from tomorrow.

The meeting would be chaired by Lieutenant General K S Jamwal, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Army Training Command, who is also the Chairman of AMSB. The meeting would be attended, among others, by senior officers from Army Headquarters in New Delhi, various Army Training Establishments and Directors of Indian Institutes of Management at Bangalore, Lucknow, Kolkata, Indore, Ahmedabad and Kozhikode, an official release here said today.

AMSB was constituted by the Union Government with a charter to act as a medium for exchange of knowledge and collaboration in the field of management. The Board identified, approved and funded management projects with various IIMs, jointly with the Indian Army.
