Air Force officer commits suicide

Ambala, June 14 (UNI) Air Force Warrant Officer Rajinder Singh, working at the Ambala Air Force station, allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself today.

The officer, who belonged to Mainpuri district of Uttar Pradesh, was found hanging at his residence by his family members.

His body was taken to the civil hospital for post mortem and then handed over to his family members.

The son of the deceased, claimed that his father was under strain for some time due to which he might have taken the extreme step.

Meanwhile, the Air Force authorities have ordered an enquiry into the matter.
