600 kg opium seized, two arrested

Mandsaur, MP, June 14 : Police arrested two persons and seized 600 kg opium, worth Rs six lakh in international market, from them at Mallahgarh in this district.

Superintendent of Police R K Choudhary said following a tip-off, police searched a truck and seized the contraband.

Punjab's Hoshiyarpur-resident Mahendra Singh and Tarantal-resident Baljeet Singh were arrested.

The truck, which was heading to Bangalore, was impounded.
