Two kids among four killed in grenade explosion
Hisar, June 13 (UNI) Four people, including two children, were killed and six others seriously injured when a hand grenade exploded at Bhojraj village in the district this evening.
Police said that some boys of the village found a live grenade in the nearby army firing range and brought it to the village. The grenade exploded when they were playing with it, killing four people, including two children, and injuring six others.
Among the deceased were two married men identified as Harpal and Bobby and two children Jasveer and Kala. The six injured have been hospitalised.
Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda announced an assistance of Rs one lakh each for the two adults and Rs 50,000 each for the two children who died in the incident.
A sum of Rs 10,000 each would be given to the injured and their medical expenses would be borne by the government.
