Three killed, 11 injured in AP

Khammam, Jun 13 (UNI) Three persons, including a girl died and 11 others were injured on the Kothagudem-Tallada route near Julurupadu in Khammam district today, as their vehicle hit a tree.

A marriage party left Mondikunta village in Ashwapuram mandal to go to Tirupathi. The driver lost control when he tried to avoid ruuning over a dead buffalo on the road, as they reached Julurupadu.

Prashanti (9), Jyothi (38) and the driver Mohd Omer (28) died on the spot, while Bhargava, who received serious injuries, was taken to the Khammam hospital. The remaining 10, who suffered injuries were taken to a hospital in Kothagudem, police said.
