Sensex slips below the 9000 mark for first time

Mumbai, Jun 13: Sensex slips below the 9000 mark for the first time since Dec 9, 2005. However it then moved upwards to touch 9044.13 after an intra-day drop of 431.44 points.

Sensex maintain trend; crashes by over 400 pts

Keeping up with the downward trend, the BSE index today further moved southwards by over 400 points. The sensex has reached a mark just over 9050.
