Monsoon was weak over in Karnataka

Bangalore, Jun 13 (UNI) Following is a summary of observations recorded by the weather office at 0830 hrs here today.

The monsoon was weak over coastal Karnataka and south interior Karnataka. Rainfall occurred at isolated places over coastal Karnataka and north interior Karnataka. Mainly dry weather prevailed over south interior Karnataka.

Chief rainfall amounts (CM): Sirsi 3.

Forecast vaild until Thursday morning: Rain/thundershowers likely to occur at isolated places over the State.

Farmers forecast: Mainly dry weather may prevail over all the districts of coastal Karnataka; north interior Karnataka and south interior Karnataka.

Forecast for Bangalore: Mainly clear sky.
