K'taka to set up 2 committees to solve admissions, fee issue
Bangalore, June 13 (UNI) The Karnataka Government, along with the Confederation of Medical Engineering and Dental of Karnataka, has agreed to set up two separate committees for distribution of seats and fixation of fees in professional colleges.
Emerging out of a meeting, Primary and Secondary Education Minister Basavaraj Horatti told reporters that the government and the private managements had come to an agreement to find a solution to Common Entrance Test for admissions to professional colleges to protect the interests of the students of the state.
The two committees would hold two or three meetings and submit its reports. The recommendations would be binding on both the state government and the managements, he added.
