Heavy rain in Machilipatnam

Machilipatnam, June 13 (UNI) Machilipatnam Port town received the seasons's highest rainfall of 7.7 cm within a span of two hours, this morning.

All the low lying areas are inundated and traffic is obstructed as roads are filled with water. Rain water entered into TTD Kalyana Mandapam, MRO office, RTC bus station and business establishments.

The debris from the road widening project had blocked the outflow of the water.
