Government has failed to deliver its promises:KSAAU

Dehra Dun, Jun 13 (UNI) An organisation fighting for the rights of the Kargil martyrs kin, the Kargil Shahid Ashrit Association of Uttaranchal, here today said even after seven years of the conflict families of the heroes and martyrs are yet to recieve the compensation and rewards announced by the then NDA government at the Centre.

Association President N K Gussain told reporters the then Central government had announced various schemes for the kin of the martyrs and had promised petrol pumps and plots to them.

He demanded the immediate fulfilment of the promises at the earliest to those families of the martyrs who have not been given their due.
