Ganguly recovers stolen chain

Kolkata, Jun 13 (UNI) A golden chain stolen from Sourav Ganguly's house was recovered here today and a servant arrested in this connection.

The former Indian skipper had left the chain under his pillow and had gone to play in the semi-finals of P Sen tourament on Friday morning without the chain.

On returning, when the chain could not be traced, Ganguly lodged a complaint with the Thakurpukur Police Station. The chain had a locket of their family goddess---Ma Chandi.

Police today recovered the chain from a jewellery shop and arrested its owner for buying stolen ornaments. Earlier, police raided the house of one of the servants working in Ganguly's house.

The servant, M Rehman admitted to having stolen the chain. Police arrested him also.
