Four children killed in grenade explosion

Hisar, June 13 (UNI) Four children were killed and five others seriously injured when a hand grenade exploded this evening at Bhojraj village in the district.

Police said that some boys of the village picked up the grenade from the nearby army firing range and brought it to the village.

They were playing with the grenade when it exploded, killing three of the children on the spot and injuring six others.

One of the injured succumbed to his injuries in the hospital.

Senior police and administrative officals and army officers rushed to the village immediately after the incident. The injured children were hospitalised here.
