Five of family killed in accident

Jaipur, June 13 : Five members of a family died on the spot when their van hit a tree in Phagi, near here late last night. Police said the accident occurred on Phagi road near Nimbeda toll gate when the van driver tried to escape a high speed truck coming from the opposite side and hit the tree. The family was on its way from here to Todaraisingh in Tonk.

The police said the deceased were identified as Satyanarayan, 40, his younger brother, sister and her husband and the driver Devaram died on the spot.

While the two others critically injured Indra and her 10-year-old son Ankit have been admitted at Jaipur's SMS Hospital.
