ECR to continue augment coaches

Visakhapatnam, Jun 13 (UNI) The East Coast Railway (ECR) will continue to augment coaches in important trains to clear the extra rush of passengers.

During April and May, it augmented trains with 931 additional coaches and carried about 77,000 more passengers during the two months.

Accoding to a press release from ECR here today, the ECR earned Rs 1.89 crore more due to augmentation.

Taking the decision forward, the ECR has decided to augment the Jagannath Express permanently with a AC Two Tier and a AC Three Tier Coach beginning July two.
