Cop killed by speeding truck

Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, Jun 13 (UNI) A constable was killed when a truck hit his motorcycle on the National Highway near the Nagarjuna University Campus here today.

Police said R Venkata Rao (45) was proceeding to the university from Machilipatnam along with his daughter for admitting her to the MBA course when the mishap occurred.

The girl, however, escaped with minor injuries.
