Charan Singh's kin appointed J D (S) General Secretary

New Delhi, June 13 (UNI) Mr Kuldeep Singh, a close relative of former Prime Minister Charan Singh, was today appointed as the General Secretary of the Janata Dal (Secular) by party president H D Deve Gowda.

Party sources said that Mr Singh would be helpful in spreading the party both in Uttar Pradesh and also in Haryana where the late former Prime Minister wielded enormous influence over the voters.
