Bomb threatening call delays AP Express

Hyderabad, June 13 : The Andhra Pradesh Express (Hyderabad-Delhi) train, was delayed today due to a bomb threatening call by a person, who claimed to be an Intelligence Officer in the Indian Air Force.

However, the call turned out to be hoax, police sources said.

The train, which was supposed to leave for Delhi from Nampally railway station, was halted after the railway officials received the call.

The passengers were asked to get out of the train and there was panic for some time.

The police along with the bomb disposal and sniffer dog squads searched the train for two hours but noting was found.

They are trying to track the caller, police added.
