Assam Rifles jawan goes berserk kills four colleagues

Imphal, Jun 13 (UNI) An Assam Rifles jawan posted in Manipur's Chandel district has killed his four colleagues, official sources said.

The jawan, a barber, went on a firing spree killing four colleagues including two JCOs late last night.

However, details were not available immediately.

Assam Rifles sources said an internal enquiry was going on and details of the incident and identities of those involved and killed were not revealed.

Sources said there could have been a quarrel among the jawans.

In a separate incident a bomb was exploded at Water point, Moreh, Chandel district, today.

Police said it was an IED and no one was injured in the blast.
