Amarnath pilgrim from Delhi dies due to fall

Srinagar, June 13 : A woman pilgrim from Delhi slipped to death on Baltal-Amarnath Cave shrine route, an official spokesman said.

He said 45-year-old Nisha Jindal was injured when she fell into a deep gorge near Rail-Pathri on the Baltal-Cave route yesterday afternoon.

However, local porters immediately shifted her to nearest medical- aid centre where she died.

He said Ms Jindal is resident of Shahdra, New Delh.

Three pilgrims had so far died since the pilgrimage started on June 11.
