Aamir Khan said right thing at wrong place: Vaghela

Gurgaon, June 13 (UNI) Union Textiles Minister Shankersinh Vaghela said here today that actor Aamir Khan's statement on Narmada Dam was ''right'' but was spoken at the wrong place.

Replying to a question after he inaugurated the new auditorium at the Apparel House, Mr Vaghela said BJP had objected to Aamir Khan's remarks in which the actor was sympathetic to those displaced by the construction of the Narmada dam and sought justice for them.

He said BJP has nothing to do with the development works of the country. ''It always makes an issue out of a non-issue''.

''BJP has double standards,'' Mr Vaghela said.
