Two arrested in hawala racket, Rs 6.88 lakh seized

Surat, June 12 (UNI) The police today nabbed two persons for allegedly their involvement in a hawala racket and recovered over Rs 6.80 lakh from them.

The Rander police have identified the accused as Salim Abdulbhai Patel and Yakubbhai Patel, and said that Rs 6,88,800 was seized from the duo.

The racketeers used to arrange money to the needed persons in the city in an illegal way, police added.
