Telgi hospitalised

Pune, June 12 (UNI) Prime accused in the inter-state multi-crore fake stamp paper scam, Abdul Karim Telgi, was today admitted to the government-run Sassoon Hospital following high blood pressure and vomiting.

Telgi's lawyer Milind Pawar told UNI that he fell unconscious in the Anda Cell in the morning and was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Sassoon hospital. His nephew Irfan was with him at the time of admission.

Pawar said Telgi had bouts of vomiting and his blood pressure rose significantly. Several tests are being carried out in the hospital, he added.
