Tamotia joins MSETCL

Mumbai, June 12 (UNI) Mr Shishir Tamotia has joined as Director (operations) in the Maharashtra State Electricity Transmission Company Limited (MSETCL).

According to an official release here today, Mr Tamotia had earlier worked on the construction of very initial 200 MW units at Obra Thermal Power plant in Uttar Pradesh and Kali Nadi Hydro Electric Project in Karnataka. He was trained in the construction of dams in Italy and O&M of thermal power plant of CEGB, United Kingdom.

He had also worked in NTPC almost since its inception and moved to Sydeny in 1999 where he consulted for seven years to the then largest State Utility in New South Wales, it added.
