Sixty-eight gamblers arrested

Mumbai, June 12 (UNI) Sixty-eight gamblers, including the manager of Social club, were arrested early today at Mamta Karmanuk Kendra, Borivali in western suburbs.

Sub-Inspector A S Rane of Kasturba Police station said on the complaint of Social Service Branch (SSB) of Mumbai police, a team of Kasturba had raided at Mamta Karmanuk Kendra and Mahavir Mansion at around 0100 hrs.

Police have arrested 68 people, including the manager of the club Khaloji Khevane (49).

All of them were today produced before the 26th court Borivali, who released them on bail of Rs 3,000 each, Mr Rane added.
