Silver Jubilee Celeberations of VMC begins today

Vijayawada , Jun 12 (UNI) The week-long silver jubilee celeberations of Vijayawada Municipal Corporation (VMC) will commence here today evening.

State Panchayat Raj minister and Krishna district in-charge minister J C Dowakar Reddy will inaugurate the celeberations.

As part of the celeberations, the traders of the city had come out with different discount schemes for the customers. The corporation will conduct many cultural programmes including dance, social and historic plays at corporation's Kshetraiah Kalakshetram Auditorium.

Many other competitions and sporting events will add grandeur to the celeberation.
