Silver, gold cheaper on weak global advice

Mumbai, June 12: Values of silver and gold became cheaper on weak global advice in the opening session, traders at the bullion market said here today.

Following were the opening rates today: Silver (per kg) .999 fineness grade : Rs 17,000, Gold (per 10 gm): Gold 99.5 purity standard mint: : Rs 9,025, Gold 99.9 purity variety : Rs 9,075.
