Rain brings respite from summer heat in Manipur

Imphal, Jun 12 (UNI) Sporadic rainfall in parts of Manipur today brought down the mercury here. weathermen said.

The maximum temparature was recorded at 24 degrees Celsius compared to 27.3 degree Celcius yesterday, according to Meteriological department sources.

The minimum temparature was recorded at 19.9 degrees Celsius.

MET sources said about 25 mm of rainfall was recorded since yesterday.

They also predicted more rainfall in the coming days.
