Pappu Yadav files bail petition

Gaya, June 12 (UNI) Pappu Yadav alias Pankaj, brother-in-law of RJD MP Subash Yadav, now in judicial custody filed a bail petition before the Chief Judicial Magistrate of Gaya.

The court would hear the petition tomorrow.

Yadav had surrendered before the Patnas Gardanibagh police station on June 8 in connection with the Atul Prakash kidnapping case. He was produced on the following day before the CJM of Gaya, who remanded him to judicial custody.

Atul Prakash was abducted while he was being brought to Patna from Gujarat in police custody in 2004. A case was registered with the Rampur police station in Gaya in this connection.
