MBOSE Class X results declared

Shillong, Jun 12 (UNI) Girls outshined the boys in the Secondary School Leaving Certificate Examination conducted by the Meghalaya Board of School Education (MBOSE).

Declaring the results here today, the MBOSE said out of the 34306 candidates appearing for the examination, 14923 candidates passed the SSLC examination.

Purba Chattterjee of the prestigious St. Magaret's School was top in the list followed by Naphibanroi Kharnaior of St. Mary's School, who is on top of the list among the scheduled Tribe ( Khasi, Jaintia and Garo) candidates of Meghalaya.

Meanwhile, MBOSE Chairman T T C Marak informed that the results of the Class XII (Arts stream) exmanination 2006 would be declared tomorrow.
