Gold ornaments stolen from a cop's house

Hyderabad, Jun 12 (UNI) Burglars gained entry into a police quarters and decamped with gold ornaments worth more than 50 tolas from a sub-inspector's house.

The sub-inspector Somanna, was transferred to Lakkireddypally in Kadapa district recently. He was preparing to leave the city. Last night, his family went to their relatives house for a function when the burglary took place, according to police.

When they returned home today, they noticed a hole on the main door. On suspicion they informed the police who discovered that the house had been burgled.
