CPI(M) state committee to discuss poll results
Barrackpore, Jun 12 (UNI) CPI(M)'s West Bengal State Committee will meet on June 17 and 18 to discuss the party's performance in the last state elections.
State Chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee said the party would examine the reports submitted by the various district committees and discuss ways to increase the votebank.
The Left Front is striving for more votes despite clinching more than 50 per cent of votes polled this time, Mr Bhattcharjee said at a public meeting here yesterday.
The party's supporters at the grassroot level carry on a door-to-door survey to assess the minds of the voters to arrive at a conclusion on its vote bank in the state, the chief minister said.
