Counterfeiters' gang busted

Diphu, June 12 (UNI) Police today busted a gang of counterfeit note makers in Dharamnala locality of this town.

Acting on a tip off, Diphu police conducted a raid at a house on the area at about 1100 hours.

Four persons were arrested in the raid and large quantity of fake notes was recovered from them.

Computers, printers and other equipment were also seized by the police from the spot.

However, chief suspect Babu Singh eluded the police.

Investigation was on to nab the other members of the gang.
