Bajaj Allianz foray into Mizoram

Aizawl, June 12 (UNI) Bajaj Allianz General Insurance Company has introduced an array of insurance schemes to gain foothold in Mizoram.

Talking to the newspersons here today at the Mizoram branch office at Zarkawt its general manager K Lalhluna said the company registered under Insurance Regulatory Development Authority (IRDA) has established its presence in the private insurance sector in the country.

The Bajaj Allianz, to be locally known as 'Liando Insurance Care', offers a 'star package policy', which covers risks of hospital, cash, health guard, critical illness and personal accidents.

The Bajaj Allianz has tied up with 1,700 hospitals in India where the clients can get free treatment. ''It can also meet 90 per cent of medical expenses of a client in any hospital other than the 1,700 hospitals,'' the GM said.

The company already has 100 clients in Mizoram, Lalhluna said.
