Afghan clashes kill 27 Taliban - army commander
KABUL, June 12 (Reuters) Afghan and US-led foreign forces have killed 27 Taliban fighters in clashes in southern and central Afghanistan, an Afghan army official said today.
Rahmatullah Raufi, the army commander in the south, said a brother-in-law of fugitive Taliban chief Mullah Mohammad Omar was "most probably" among those killed in the fighting yesterday.
