TRS suspends senior party leader

Hyderabad, Jun 11 (UNI) The Telangana Ratra Samithi (TRS) today suspended its Nalgonda district president and senior leader T Vijayasimha Reddy from the party.

According to party sources here, Mr Reddy was suspended on charges of inability to strengthen the party in the district and alleged anti-party activities.

Mr Reddy, who was a senior Congress leader, had joined the TRS ahead of last Assembly polls and was planning to rejoin the Congress in the presence of Home Minister K Jana Reddy, sources added.
