TN govt appoints 11 Special Government Pleaders

Chennai, June 11 (UNI) The Tamil Nadu Government today announced the appointment of 11 Special Government Pleaders (SGPs) and 12 Additional Government Pleaders (AGPs) to the Madras High Court.

An official release here said Mr Haja Naziruddin and Mr R Subbiah were appointed as the new SGPs for Taxes.

Other SGPs were Mr P Wilson, hitherto Senior Central Government Standing Counsel,now appointed SGP for writs. Mr R Thirugnanam, Janaki Ramlu, Jesssi Jeevapriya, V Ravi, K Elango, Titus Jesudoss, T Chandrasekaran and M Sekar were the other SGPs.

The AGPs were A P Suryaprakasam, K Balu, M Dandapani, A Arumugam, V Srikanth, C Kalaichelvan, K Balasubramanian, G Sankaran, M Kribanandam, D Geetha, R K Kalpana and K Baskaran, the release said.
